Happy Labor Day! We spent a relaxing weekend visiting the parents of my husband’s longtime friend at their beautiful home in the mountains of northwest Virginia. We hiked in the woods, rode around their property in a UTV, and spent quite a few hours enjoying incredible views from the screened in porch. I always find it so peaceful to be surrounded by nature. The air temperature was much cooler due to the high elevation, a welcome change from the heat wave we’ve been experiencing back home. An oversized plaid scarf was the perfect layer for a cool morning. Fall is in the air and I cannot wait for the change of seasons!
