Things are getting a little crazy around here, but for all the best reasons. On Wednesday, we are heading to Milan for the Autumn/Winter ’16 fashion week, and this season will be especially exciting because my husband and I have received several invitations to attend runway shows. A few years ago, if someone told me I would be going to Milan Fashion Week now, I wouldn’t have believed it–this really is a dream come true, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to go while we are living here. The icing on the cake is that just a few days after we return from Milan, my parents will be arriving for their first visit. They’ve never been to Italy, so we cannot wait to show them around!A rich blend of textures–leather, wool, denim, and suede–came together to create this neutral-toned outfit I wore the other week. It’s just right for the mild winter weather we’ve been having, but I could definitely see myself wearing this in the fall, too.We haven’t made any big plans for the weekend since there are lot of last-minute things to do before we head to Milan, with the most stressful–and time consuming–part being outfit planning. I started trying things on today and before I knew it, almost two hours had passed and our bedroom looked like a tornado hit it. At least I have some ideas now, though (and hopefully the weather will hold out this time–in September there was torrential rain!) I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for reading!
