We went home to the Shenandoah Valley for a short visit with friends and family over the weekend. There are so many great scenic areas in the country for photos. We took advantage of the mild weather and shot several different outfits since it is supposed to snow and drop into the mid 20s this week! In light of the bitter cold, I’ll be sharing more layered looks featuring faux fur and thick sweaters over the next few weeks.
Despite the fact I was wearing a sheer blouse for this ensemble, the fur vest kept me nice and cozy. My favorite pant style is a skinny leg, but I thought I’d try a pairing using flared jeans this time. The combination of dark, dressy denim with patent leather pumps and the rich textures of this satchel lends an air of sophistication to the outfit. I’ll definitely be doing more variations on this look in the future.
