Happy Thursday, everyone (as well as the first official day of Fashion Week season!) It’s always a little crazy to grasp the fact that in the world of fashion, it’s already time to start thinking about the next spring/summer season when we are just moving into fall. I enjoy seeing previews of what trends are coming next, but for now I am content to savor every last moment of autumn. As you’ve probably already noticed, 70’s style has made a HUGE comeback, and I incorporated a few touches of the decade into today’s look with my vintage bag (circa 1974) and suede fringe booties. The ruffled hem of this dress just begs to be twirled, and I probably looked a little silly doing just that for photos in the park!Little details like the exposed zipper on this dress add a little more flair to an otherwise simple outfit. The best part about this dress is how I can easily change up my look by adding layers for colder weather–I wore it here with a fur vest and tights on a chilly weekend getaway last fall, and I can’t wait to try it with a camel leather jacket and booties when it gets a little cooler! If you’re like me, you’ll be checking Instagram frequently for updates from your favorite fashion designers/stylists that are currently in New York. One of my other favorite ways to keep up with the fashion world is by using BlogLovin’ to follow all of my favorite blogs in one place–it’s so much easier than having to go to each site individually, and from style to food or home inspo, there is a blog for everyone. Every morning I look forward to my ritual of coffee and reading the latest BlogLovin’ ‘news’ on my iPad app (or phone if I’m on the go!) If you don’t have an account, it takes less than a minute to sign up here, and if you’re already a BlogLovin’ member, this is my page–I would love for you to follow along! Have a wonderful weekend and as always, thank you so much for reading!
