Hi everyone! It’s time for another beauty post, and today I thought I would share my favorite summer lipcolors. Summertime is the best for bright, cheerful hues, and I can’t get enough of coral and red shades. I’ll start with the corals and finish with the reds–you can shop the products here, as well as throughout the post!

This super-moisturizing lip balm with a hint of soft coral color is suitable for everyday use and one I find myself reaching for a lot. This is my second Baby Tint (I also own ‘Coming up Rosy’), and so far it’s my favorite. It looks pretty sheer in this photo since I just applied it, but the longer it’s worn, the more the color comes out on lips, leaving the prettiest peachy flush. If you aren’t into ultra-brights and prefer a low-key look, this is one you need to add to your summer collection.

I really love this color because of how unique it is: I have yet to find another lipstick in the same hue (and I try a lot of products!) Coral can be a tricky color for fair-skinned gals to pull off, but this lipstick has a good dose of pink in it, resulting in a very flattering peachy shade that’s vivid, but also sheer (if that makes sense!) The formula feels wonderful on lips, doesn’t settle in fine lines, and reapplies very well, with a pleasant citrus scent to boot. If you’re just venturing into the world of bright lipcolor, this is a great one to start with for summer.Wearing Stila Stay All Day in ‘Amalfi’
This neon coral-pink isn’t for the color-shy! Since it’s such a bold shade, I usually like to wear this with a monochromatic outfit. Although it definitely isn’t one I wear every day, the color is just so pretty, I couldn’t resist adding it to my collection. With light eye makeup and a little bronzer, this will light up your entire face for a gorgeous summer makeup look. This new hue is part of the Stila liquid lipstick summer collection, but the formula is the same: incredible color payoff, but a little drying–I always make sure to exfoliate my lips with this handy tool before application (I also featured it on this post–it’s seriously the best for pre-application!) Since it can be a little tricky to apply and you have to work fast before it dries, I find a lip brush to be helpful. You can also add a little lip balm on top if your lips start feeling dry, but don’t go overboard since it can cause the lipcolor to look uneven.Wearing NARS Semi-Matte in ‘Heat Wave’
My search for the perfect red-orange is over and I now understand all of the hype about this lipstick color: it has the ideal balance of red and orange, the formula is matte without being too dry, and like many beauty articles have mentioned, I truly believe it is universally-flattering for all skin tones. In many cases, orangey-reds can make my teeth look yellow, but this shade does the complete opposite: pearly whites all the way!Wearing Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy in ‘Envious’
Hello, classic lip! This is my new favorite red, and probably the most flattering shade in my makeup stash. Like the Pure Color Envy Shine lipstick I reviewed above, this formula also feels great and wears really well (Estée Lauder has been killing it with their fantastic formulas lately). It isn’t solely for summer use, either–I’ll be wearing this lovely hue all year round. If you’ve been searching for a sophisticated, true red, it’s time to give this one a whirl–I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! There you have it! Take your pick from my top favorite summer lipcolors–these are just a few of hundreds to choose from on the beauty market!
