Today’s post features another look from one of our walks around the city this weekend. Despite the fact we are in Rome, this outfit was created with French-inspired elements in mind using a khaki trench, striped tee, and ballet flats. A classic trench coat is always a sophisticated option for any ensemble, while a graphic tee, a touch of leopard print, and ripped knees keep this outfit modern and youthful.
It was so wonderful to have a weekend where we had no agenda besides exploring–I can’t remember the last time we got to relax without having something to complete on a to-do list for our move overseas. During our wandering, we stopped at a bar (coffee shop) for a cappuccino and pastry (which are all incredibly delicious by the way). Bars are literally everywhere in Roma and taking a midday break–or any time of day, really–for ‘un caffe’ with friends is a daily ritual, and one in which I don’t mind partaking. Starbucks who? Italian coffee is what dreams are made of!
