After searching for the perfect white sneaker and trying many pairs over the years, I think I’ve finally found them. Allow me to introduce the ‘Clean 90’ from European brand Axel Arigato. Axel Arigato ‘Clean 90’ Sneaker Review
Style – These minimal white sneakers have a clean, classic look which gives them the ability to complement anything in your wardrobe from jeans to joggers or dresses. My favorite part about them is how the tongue is low-cut and the shoelaces are hidden (shown above), which make for a much more flattering silhouette on the foot. I can wear these with any type of pant and they look good, whereas the tongues of other sneakers I own often get in the way.
Sizing – These sneakers are only available in whole sizes, which was a downside for me. I wear a 37.5 in European sizes (which is a U.S. 7), so I had to size up to a 38. The 37 was too snug and the 38 is a little roomy, but better to have more room than less!
Comfort – It took me about a week of continual wear to break in these sneakers. The tongue area and footbed were stiff at first but it got better and now they feel amazing on my feet all day.
