Hello from the sunshine state! We just got to Florida yesterday afternoon and will be here for the week to visit our family on my husband’s side.

We’ve stayed at this B&B every time we’ve driven down to Florida for the last four years since it’s exactly halfway on our route. It’s such a cozy little spot in downtown Columbia, South Carolina and we adore Mary, the hostess.

This is the travel outfit I wore yesterday on the second leg of our trip. This is actually the same $20 tank dress as I’m wearing in the first photo with Lila. It’s so comfortable for long hours on the road yet still versatile and chic. I added a band tee over top and loved the result.

Lila was so well-behaved considering she spent so many hours in her car seat. All I have to say is thank goodness for the DVD player in our vehicle!
Lila had kicked off her shoes and was running around barefoot within ten minutes of arriving at her Mimi’s house. She loved helping pick veggies from the garden for our salad and took a big bite out of this carrot as soon as it was pulled out of the ground, haha!
