New Year’s Eve Outfit Prep & The New Shapewear Brand I’m Trying

Happy Monday, guys! I know we haven’t even made it to Christmas yet, but if you’re like me, you’ve already started thinking about your New Year’s Eve outfit! I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit for today’s look by wearing this low-cut metallic wrap bodysuit. It’s fun to add some sparkle around the holidays and this top is great for any NYE plans, whether that means going out to dinner or a party with friends. You may also be like me if you rarely ever shop for new bras. Real talk: I’m slightly embarrassed to admit I only wear three different bras and haven’t purchased a new one in years. I was recently introduced to Kim Kardashian’s new line called SKIMS and the timing couldn’t be better to start shopping for a new bra (specifically this bralette style). SKIMS aims to provide women with shapewear ‘designed to smooth, enhance, lift, and tone’ and every piece is offered from size XXS to 4X to accommodate all body types. With so many changes my body has undergone since being pregnant, nursing Lila for a year and a half, and then losing baby weight, it’s time to find my new perfect fit. Since this bodysuit has a deep v-neck, I really want to try a bralette since it’s low-cut for tops/bodysuits like I’m wearing here and would be super comfy for lounging at home. I also have my eye on one of the luxe sleep sets they offer (particularly the nightshirt and matching pants).You could totally dress this bodysuit up even more with something like one of these faux leather skirts, but since I’m a denim lover at heart, I paired it with my favorite straight leg cropped jeans (I have the same style in 3 colors!)Anyone else planning their New Year’s outfits?
