Happy Monday, everyone! We had a fun family weekend celebrating Lila’s birthday (I still can’t believe we have a two year old!) She got a few new books and a fancy tricycle for gifts so she’s been in toddler heaven. We’re trying to teach her how to use the pedals on the trike and it’s the cutest thing to watch. She’s already catching on, though!Camel, black and red is such a classic color combo and one I’ve always loved to wear, especially during the holiday season. Red really pops when paired with neutrals and instantly gives your look a festive vibe. This blouse is one I scored from H&M for under $35 (it looks so much more expensive!) Unfortunately, it seems to be mostly sold out online but such a great option for holiday outfits if you can grab your size. I wore my favorite camel coat but if you’re going to be at an indoor party, try a camel blazer for the same effect.I wanted this look to be polished enough for a party, but comfortable, so I chose jeans and velvet loafers. The 721 skinny style from Levi’s has become my favorite new jean thanks to a slimming high waist and the perfect ankle length. This pair also has a lot of stretch but they never get baggy. And I have to tell you guys: I nearly did a split over the weekend when I slipped on my friend’s porch and I was wearing these exact jeans—and they did NOT rip if that tells you anything about the recovery stretch, ha! Who’s done with their holiday shopping? Besides stocking stuffers, I’ve basically wrapped mine up. Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead!
