Over the past week, I’ve been that crazy lady chasing all of the fall foliage for photo ops—and also just to enjoy the views. Yesterday, my dad and I took Lila out for a drive through West Virginia (we are very close to the state line) to peep at the trees. They were seriously magical and it felt like being in a real-life postcard. The only thing I don’t like about fall is that the color is so short-lived, but I guess that just makes me appreciate it even more during those few beautiful weeks every year. We took photos with this strand of stunning red maple trees last week but with how fast they change, I’m willing to bet their leaves are almost gone by now! Burgundy and camel is one of my favorite color combos for fall and I inevitably post at least one outfit every year on my blog using the palette. This chunky sweater/pleated skirt outfit is definitely one I’d save for Thanksgiving since it’s elegant but also cozy (plus these boots are actually comfortable despite the heel). Before I sign off, just a PSA that these boots are on sale here! They have been one of my favorite boot purchases this year because of the perfect camel color and soft, slouchy suede. I definitely recommend snapping up a pair before they’re gone.
