It certainly feels like a Monday, friends, because this momma is T.I.R.E.D! Lila had her two-month checkup with the doctor yesterday which involved getting several vaccines, so since she was a little achy and feverish, she needed all the snuggles from Mommy and Daddy. My mom paranoia kept waking me up last night to see if she was okay, but luckily she greeted us with her usual smiles and giggles this morning. Nothing is more heart-wrenching than seeing your baby sick; I’ve always heard other mommas say it, but never really understood until I had my own. As ridiculous as it may sound, when Lila screamed after getting her shots, it brought tears to my eyes, too! At least we don’t have to go through that again for several more months.I love the color pairing of olive and blush pink for spring. Although this is a feminine look, I wore a tee shirt to give it a little more of a casual feel. I’ve had this bomber jacket for a few years now but I found a few very similar styles and linked them below if you’re interested. I love how versatile this pleated skirt is, too: you can wear one with anything from a silky blouse to a leather jacket and it all works—see how I styled it with an embellished sweater on this post.Hope your week is off to a wonderful start and thanks so much for reading!
