I don’t know about you all, but this weekend flew by even faster than usual. We were so busy unpacking and moving things around in our apartment that I feel like I literally blinked and it was over! After some creative arranging and a run to IKEA for a few storage cabinets, I think we’re finally in the home stretch of getting our place set up to be comfortable for the next two years. After this, I suppose my next project will be setting up Baby Brandon’s room!
Ponchos and capes are some of my absolute favorite pieces to wear during fall and winter, so what’s a girl to do when it’s summer? During warm weather months, try looking for ponchos/capes in stripes or light colors and airy fabric and pair them with a basic tee or tank, denim shorts, and summery accessories. This one is a steal at less than $40, especially for its versatility: it would also be cute thrown over a fitted tank dress or could even be worn as a swimsuit cover-up. To complement the boho vibe of the striped pattern, I finished this look with a straw hat and embellished gladiator sandals.
