This is our third year in a row going blueberry picking at a local farm and it’s safe to say it’s become our summer family tradition. This year was even more special with Jules along for the adventure! Life has been a little chaotic with a toddler and a newborn at home, so getting dressed has to be quick and easy for me these days. There are a few summer staples I’ve been reaching for over others because they coordinate with any outfit. My most-worn summer accessory has been this straw hat from my favorite hat brand, Janessa Leone (shop here). Her hats are pricey but incredibly well-made and guaranteed to add a chic touch to any outfit. As far as footwear goes, I’ve been wearing Birkenstock sandals more than anything else. ‘Dad sandals’ are trending in a big way this summer and Birks are incredibly comfy so it’s a win-win for this momma. When it comes to basics, I live in simple tees and tanks like this during summer. For breathable linen styles like this v-neck, H&M is my go-to source (most of theirs are under $20!)Lila has gotten better at picking blueberries each year but she still eats about 90% of what she picks!Have you ever been blueberry picking? If you have kids, it’s such a fun family activity. I hope you’ve all been having enjoying summer and as always, thanks so much for reading!
