Hands down, boots are always what I get most excited about when it comes to fall fashion. I’m rounding up four of the trends I’ve been wearing most this season and one I can’t wait to try next. I’d love to know: what’s your favorite boot style?
Exotic

Croco and snakeskin boots continue to be popular this season and I don’t see them going away anytime soon. This croc-embossed leather style is the pair I’ve worn the most since I bought them last fall. They go with anything just like a pair of plain brown leather boots, but the exotic texture adds such a chic element. You can’t go wrong with minimal black or brown but a neutral pattern can also complement plenty of outfits.

Block Heel Ankle

Ankle boots have been popular for years but this fall the ‘it’ silhouette has a block heel and a slim fit on the ankle (lots of great options here). If you’re a denim lover, this sleek style is the perfect match for straight or wide leg jeans.

Knee High

While knee high boots are ‘trending’ for 2020, they’re actually a timeless boot style. They look great paired with anything, whether it’s jeans, leggings, skirts or dresses (even shorts can look good with knee high boots when done the right way!) For now, expect to see lots of knee high styles with block or kitten heels.

Slouchy

Whether they’re knee high or mid-calf, slouchy boots lend a cool, casual vibe to fall outfits. I’ve been wearing mine with jeans lately but I actually think they look the best with skirts that really show them off. Combat
I don’t own a pair of combat boots yet but one of these lace-up styles is next on my list! Balance out the masculine style by pairing them with skirts or faux leather leggings.
