Hey guys! My Nordstrom Anniversary sale purchases have finally all arrived so I’m sharing all the details on sizing, quality, as well as some suggestions on how to style them. At the end of the post, I also rounded up my favorite sale picks that are all still in stock. Have you shopped the sale this year? Let me know what you picked up in the comments!
What I Bought From the Sale & Sizing Info
Blank NYC suede moto jacket (wearing XS) – I’d had my eye on this suede moto jacket for awhile since I’ve seen so many influencers rave about it and now I understand the hype. It’s truly such a luxe jacket and an incredible price point for 100% genuine suede – under $120 during the sale! I fell in love with this taupe color but it’s also fully stocked in a pretty dark gray. I found the jacket true to size with room for a light sweater underneath.

Theory faux blazer (wearing 2) – I’ve been on the hunt for a leather blazer for years and this one is perfection. It looks so realistic but it’s faux leather! I sized up to a 2 based on Nordstrom’s recommendation that it runs small and it was a great fit, with just enough room for a light sweater. If you prefer a more fitted look I would choose your regular size. I honestly think this blazer is worth the full price even when the sale ends. It gives such an edgy, chic look to a basic tee and denim combo and would also be great for an office setting.

Topshop ribbed cardigan (wearing XS) – I can never resist a cozy, oversized cardigan and usually always purchase one from Topshop during the anniversary sale (under $50!). I went for olive green this year, which will pair beautifully with shades of brown for fall. I found this true to size despite most reviews saying it ran huge. Also, keep in mind that the sleeves are more fitted and cropped, so if you’re tall you probably won’t want to size down.

Steve Madden bootie (TTS) – These booties were at the top of my wishlist when the sneak peek catalog came out. The heel is a manageable height and they seemed to be pretty comfortable as I was walking around my house. My only complaint is that the color shown online definitely looks reddish-brown but in person these are more of a chocolate brown. Still lovely, though, and a neutral boot I’ll definitely wear often. These were true to size wearing a thin sock. Here’s what the booties look like with straight leg jeans and a pleated skirt.

1 State duster cardigan (wearing XS) – This is a very high-quality cardigan but ultimately I am not keeping it because it ran a bit small in the arms. My recommendation is to order your true size if you like a more fitted sweater or size up if you like them roomier. The material is lightweight cotton so it’s a great sweater to wear in early fall.

Classic Fall Wardrobe Staples (ALL IN STOCK)
I combed through the sale again and all of the items in this image are included and most importantly, IN STOCK! I chose the best pieces that are sure to be fall closet staples for years to come.
Ralph Lauren double breasted wool coat – This camel coat is gorgeous! I’m so tempted to pick it up for myself. If you don’t already own a camel coat, this is a beautiful timeless style.
Denim Jacket with removable faux shearling collar – I bought a sherpa-lined denim jacket last year and wore it so often. The best part about this one is that the collar is removable, so it’s like getting two jackets for one!
Levi’s brown faux leather jacket – I love the chocolate color of this jacket, which would look fantastic with gray and black.
Cropped black leather jacket – I have my eye on this leather moto jacket. The cropped silhouette is great for high-rise pants, skirts and dresses.
All Saints sweater – You can’t go wrong with a classic crewneck sweater. I’m obsessed with this rusty red-orange hue!
Cashmere scarf – I have a few of these scarves from past anniversary sales and they are always so soft and warm. This one is under $100 and comes in multiple colors.
Marc Fisher suede booties – Cognac boots are a fall shoe must-have. This style has a flattering pointed toe and a comfier block heel.
Marc Fisher leather booties – These are the same booties as above but in leather—also a good choice for a well-rounded shoe wardrobe!
