H&M 2020 Summer Haul: Budget-Friendly Wardrobe Essentials To Mix and Match All Season

May 11, 2020

It’s so secret that H&M is one of my favorite places to shop, especially when it comes to budget-friendly wardrobe staples. I just received a large order of wardrobe essentials I’ll be wearing all summer and wanted to share them now since the good things always sell out quickly! I’m a fan of neutrals in particular because there are endless ways to mix and match the colors together. In fact, the point of my entire post is to show you how versatile all of these pieces are and how easy it is to make lots of different outfits with them. Nothing in this post is over $80; in fact, most of these pieces are under $50!

Tie-hem blouse (TTS; wearing XS) – This top is perfect for high waist skirts, denim shorts or jeans.

Silk shorts (run slightly small; wearing 2) – These 100% silk shorts are a great dressier option for date night. I like how they aren’t super short and they look fantastic with heels.

Linen tank (TTS; wearing XS) – For a top that’s 100% linen and under $15, you can’t go wrong with this. I bought it in 3 colors because you can mix and match with basically anything and the v-neck cut is very flattering.

Linen joggers (TTS; wearing 2) – Jogger pants are a huge loungewear trend right now and this pair steps it up a notch with crisp linen fabric. I LOVE how these look dressed up with heels! They are available in lots of color options and are only $35.

Pima cotton shorts (TTS; wearing 2) – I feel like most khaki shorts look dowdy but that’s totally not the case with this pair—they are so chic and comfortable. I like how the legs are wider at the bottom for a flattering fit (I can’t stand tight shorts!)

Puff sleeve blouse (TTS; wearing XS) – This blouse is easily one of my recent favorite finds from H&M. It looks so much more expensive than it is (it’s under $25!) and the button-back detail is so pretty. Wear this with a wide brim straw hat, linen pants and barely-there sandals for a breezy chic summer look.

Smocked off-the-shoulder top (runs small; wearing S) – Would you believe me if I told you this top is only $10?! It’s such a fun way to rock the off-the-shoulder trend without breaking the bank. I sized up for more length.

Linen paperbag pants (TTS; wearing XS) – Comfy, flattering, and cute whether worn with flats or heels: these pants are definitely a winner. These are actually cropped on me without having to cuff as well (I am 5’4″ for reference).

Silk camisole (TTS; wearing XS) – I can’t wait to rock this for a date night. You can wear this camisole under a blazer, cardigan, or denim jacket. There’s something about dark orange that I just love so I had to grab this color, but it’s also available in cream.

Linen v-neck top (TTS; wearing XS) – I love this breezy v-neck top with flutter sleeves as an alternative to a plain tee. It’s 100% linen and under $15.

Paperbag pants (TTS; wearing XS) – These pants are SO comfy and look great with sneakers, flat sandals, and heels. I cuff them three times to wear with flats and two times for heels (I am 5’4″).

Crinkled blouse (TTS; wearing XS) – Oh man, I love this blouse. It pairs perfectly with anything from jeans to shorts and the flowy romantic vibe is just beautiful.
