I can’t believe this is my final post of the year—where did 2019 go?! For me, it’s been a blur of moving from Amman back to the U.S. and settling in at our farm (which we are still working on). Normally we stay home for New Year’s Eve, but my husband surprised me with an itinerary in my Christmas stocking for drinks and dinner out in Washington, D.C. tomorrow evening. I’m excited to dress up since we hardly go out anymore, although whether or not we make it till the ball drops at midnight is to be determined! My favorite part about winter fashion is the ability to mix so many textures, like I did here with cashmere, wool, tweed and my new fishnet tights. You may remember the same skirt from this blog post where I went with a brown color scheme. I love how the mix of colors in this tweed makes it versatile.Wishing all of you a safe and happy New Year, whether you’re going out or staying cozy at home. I’m so thankful for your support and look forward to another year—cheers to 2020!
