I heard the funniest thing yesterday on the radio which referred to December 26th as the ‘Christmas Hangover’ day. That couldn’t be more accurate in my opinion: I always feel a little down the day after Christmas when it’s back to reality after so much celebration. I’ll probably start taking down my decor this weekend because once it’s over, I like it put away immediately. Time for a fresh start!
I’m usually pretty neutral when it comes to my daily style, but I do have fun adding some shimmer and shine to my outfits when New Year’s rolls around. That said, I don’t like to break the bank on things I won’t wear very often, so I mixed some inexpensive pieces with my old leather jacket, wrap belt and booties to create this party look. My metallic top is currently on sale under $12 and this velvet midi skirt is under $50.
