It’s mid-October and that can only mean one thing: PUMPKINS! Judging by all the content I’m seeing on other blogs and Instagram accounts, it looks like we weren’t the only ones who went pumpkin-patching over the weekend. I’ll just go ahead and apologize now for the lengthy post, but there were so many cute photos of Lila that I had a hard time choosing. It was fun twinning in our fringe cardigans and cowboy boots for the trip. If you’re in need of some gorgeous fall outfit inspiration for the countryside, be sure to check out this style story from Shopbop (I’m definitely taking notes for future outfits). It may look like she’s the perfect poser, but don’t let this fool you—getting cute photos of a toddler meant that my husband took at least 1,000 shots for these gems! This photo is my favorite—be still, my pumpkin-loving heart! In the end, I had to choose her pumpkin for her, but watching her run through the patch made this momma’s heart soar.
“Look, Momma—puh-kins!”After we chose a pumpkin, she also visited the apple orchard (and took a bite from a nearly-rotten on that had fallen off before I could catch her!)In the end, getting up early to get to the patch before it got insanely busy was worth it—I’m already looking forward to taking her back next year.
