Happy Monday and I hope you all had a great weekend! One of my husband’s old friends spent a few days with us so we had fun catching up and showing him around our new home. He has visited us in Italy, Jordan, at our previous mountain property, and now the farm so he’s officially a world-traveler! 
In regards to this look, one of my blogger’s nightmares happened: this sweater coat basically sold out before I could post it (sigh). Such a bummer…as soon as it went on sale, it got snapped up. I actually bought this during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but I’ve been waiting till it cooled down a bit to style it for the blog. And that, my friends, is why bloggers wear fall outfits even if it’s still summer—we have to share our fall finds before they sell out! Anyway, this sweater coat from Madewell is their latest update on my old favorite that I own in two other colors (check out that blog post here). It’s the perfect outer layer to wear through early fall (or winter if you live in a warmer climate). I’ll be sure to let you know if this coat gets restocked because it’s such a good one.
