Happy Monday and I hope all of you had a great weekend! My mother-in-law is here visiting from Florida and my parents came over to visit yesterday so we’ve been busy having family time. It’s definitely rare when both of our families are able to get together at once!
Once again, animal print is a huge trend for fall, but this year snakeskin print is at the forefront and I’m loving it. This midi skirt has a neutral pattern that’s easy to wear and since it’s lightweight, such a great piece for the transitional period between summer and fall. I’ve also dressed it down with a leather jacket, tee and sneakers which you can see on this post. For cold weather, I think it would look amazing with a chunky knit sweater, long camel coat and tall boots (currently lusting after the croc-embossed pair from this brand).
This sweater is another great option for transitional outfits since it isn’t heavy (and it’s only $25). I usually do a front tuck with my sweaters when I wear them with skirts but since this one has a large band at the bottom, it actually looks better untucked.
