Happy Monday and hope ya’ll had a good weekend! Ours was pretty low key since my husband is out of town for work and it’s just us girls. Also, our area was under a heat advisory (like most of the East Coast), so we had to stay inside for most of it. Oh, and I woke up at 6:30 on Sunday morning to a cow that had escaped the field and was grazing in our front yard, so I had to do some cow herding. I mean, you just never know what you’ll encounter living on a farm! Anyway, who’s been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale since it opened to the public last Friday? Today’s outfit features one of my very favorite purchases from the sale—can you guess what it is?!
If you think it’s this dreamy cardigan, you’re absolutely right! Most of you know I’m a fall lover and love my cozy sweaters. Every year I like to purchase a few cashmere pieces—but only on sale!—which is why this is the best time to shop. I chose the long cardigan I’m wearing because it’s so classic and since it’s neutral I’ll get tons of use from it. It’s great for layering, whether with a breezy camisole like this or with a turtleneck after it cools down. 
I always feel like long cardigans look more glamorous, especially when worn with heels. The mules I’m wearing are actually a purchase from last year’s Nordstrom sale but they’re back again in this near-identical style. They’re a bit of an investment but cost per wear, I definitely believe they’re worth it.
