Sadly, a lot of the items I chose sold out pretty quickly, which seems to be happening even faster every year. I still want to share them, though, because they could always be restocked (or your size could become available if you keep checking your wishlist–I’ve gotten a lot of pieces that way!) I LIVE for a good blazer. I actually bought this one on a whim because I’d been on the hunt for a new black blazer and love a boyfriend fit. This did not disappoint—I love it! Sadly, it looks to be sold out (for now anyway), so I linked a similar option below. I also found another leopard print camisole under $25 if you missed out on this one. This is the type of look I recreate often for going out or just when I want to feel confident: blazer, cami, jeans and heels! These Vince mules are from last year’s sale but the new style is almost identical. They are a splurge but worth every penny. I actually also ordered the snake print because I love my black pair so much.

Here’s another outfit idea with the same blazer, made casual with a tee and sneakers. These platform Converse are the cutest! Usually sneakers don’t flatter me since I have short legs but these have extra height so I love how they look. The pretty rose gold detailing is the cherry on top. They’re sold out at the moment but definitely worth checking for restocks and I also found another platform style under $50 which I linked below.

This leopard tee was another hot item from the sale and I can see why. It’s really soft and has a slightly oversized fit. I’m a sucker for leopard print so I had to grab it. I’d wear this under a blazer (shown above), denim jacket, cardigan (shown below), or on its own. It’s sold out from Nordstrom but I found this one that’s almost identical for only $10!

Every year during the Nordstrom sale, I buy a cashmere cardigan or wrap and this time around I chose a classic duster cardigan. I actually bought the same color in a different style of cardigan last year and wore it so much since it’s a great neutral brown-gray. This one is slightly roomy but flattering, and it’s long without being too overwhelming (I am wearing the regular length and I’m 5’4″).

Okay, I hate to tease you guys since I know this hat sold out SUPER fast, but I had to get it and I’m glad I did. I love Brixton hats and actually didn’t own a black wide-brim fedora like this one. A few bloggers said it ran small, but I took my normal XS (what can I say, I have a small head!)

Unlike a lot of the sale merchandise, this cardigan is still FULLY STOCKED and available in several colors, so snag it while you can (under $50!) I wasn’t sure if I’d like it since the photos online made it look a little wide but the high slits on the side actually help it drape well. I chose the color ‘oatmeal’ since it will be an easy neutral to wear with lots of outfits. I also want to point out my booties: while they aren’t part of the Nordstrom sale, they ARE on sale under $100! They are super similar to the mega-popular Vince Camuto bootie that sold out in days this year. Honestly, I think these are better anyway; they’re super comfy and since they don’t have cutouts on the sides, you can wear them year-round. The pointy toe is also very elongating.

This sweater coat may be my favorite item from the sale! I love Madewell sweater coats and already own two in olive and camel. It’s the perfect outer layer for fall or places with mild winters. I like this one even more than my others since it has an oversized robe-type cut. It’s not sold out yet but I have a feeling it won’t last long. It’s also available in a gorgeous red that would be amazing for the holidays.

I love finding a good striped tee and this one is SO soft and stretchy. You can’t tell from this photo, but it’s actually so stretchy you can even wear it as a tunic–I can get it down to my mid-thigh! This cardigan is another one that’s still in stock and a great basic for fall. It comes in lots of other colors but I chose the burgundy since I plan to wear it with camel and gray. The length is long but easy to wear since it only goes just past the knee (this is shorter than the other duster cardigan above).
