I know it seems early but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner (cardholder access begins in three weeks!) If you aren’t familiar with the sale, this is when you can get brand new fall clothing, beauty and home items at major discounts. Since the sale is HUGE and can be overwhelming, I put together a few quick reminders and tips to help you prepare. It’s never too early!
Dates to Remember
The sale opens to cardholders ONLY on July 12th – apply for a store card here if you want to shop early! The sale opens to the public on July 19th and ends August 4th.
My Favorite Shopping Tips
- Apply for a card now or make sure your current hasn’t expired
- Browse the preview catalog and make a wish list
- Shop early (the first day is best!)
- Buy multiple sizes (just return what you don’t want—returns are easy and FREE!)
Items Which Sell Out First
The following is a list I put together of items that tend to sell out first during the first few days of the sale. Once the sale sneak peek catalog goes live, I recommend making a wish list so you can grab your favorites before they’re gone! Make sure to read this blog post where I went into more detail.
- Basic tees under $20
- Classic booties in brown suede or black leather
- Cardigans and sweaters under $100
- Quality leggings like Spanx or Zella
- Designer denim, especially AG and Levi’s
