Striped Summer Blazer & My Favorite Denim Shorts

No matter what time of year it is, I’m always on the hunt for a good blazer, and now that summer is here, I’m opting for lighter styles like this striped one (that’s under $50 by the way!) I like to wear mine with shorts and heels for a casual-cool vibe.I also want to mention the shorts I’m wearing are my favorite denim cutoffs ever. I bought the same style last year and loved them so much I decided to grab this distressed pair a few months ago. They really have such a flattering high waist fit, plus the four-inch inseam is short but acceptable for wearing when I’m running around with my toddler. I love how they look with heels for a dressy look and I wore the other non-distressed pair on this post with a black blazer. They are a bit of a splurge, but worth it in my opinion since I’m so picky about denim shorts. We bought Lila a kiddie pool on Saturday and she loved splashing around, although we had to add a lot of hot water to it so it’d feel like the bathtub! I’m hoping to get her in a real swimming pool this summer to see how she likes floating around!
