Happy Monday and I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! We spent some time doing a few little projects and organizing around the house, but we did manage to squeeze in a fun afternoon of hosting friends. Our friends from Amman are also back stateside living near us so they drove out to visit with their two girls. It’s always so crazy to me whenever we see people we’ve met in other countries again on our home turf. It makes it seem like a small world! Lila enjoyed getting to play with the girls and it was so funny watching her interact with them.
This outfit is the one I want to wear on repeat all summer because it includes all of my favorite warm-weather pieces: flowy top, the perfect light wash jean, neutral wedges, and a whimsical bag. Speaking of this bag, I’m completely obsessed: the leather is hand-woven and inspired by vintage market totes. I love that it has the look of a straw bag but it’s much more durable and luxe since it’s leather. The cognac brown also matches everything so it’s the accessory I’ll be reaching for all season.
Ever since I bought these jeans, my others have basically stayed in the dresser. They have a very flattering high waist and are the perfect cropped length for sandals. They’re also a great pair of denim for wearing to any type of occasion since there’s no distressing.
