Snakeskin in the City

I feel like I’m always saying this lately but it’s been so crazy around here lately! Between house projects and the fact the plumbers still aren’t finished with our new bathroom, it’s a constant cycle of construction work/clean/repeat. We also found out our stuff from Jordan won’t be here until the beginning of June so that’s kind of a bummer; in the meantime we either have to borrow or re-purchase everything we need to live on, like bedsheets, cookware, dishes, etc. By the time July rolls around, we should have all of our stuff and be all settled and it will seriously be the best feeling EVER! I’m trying to keep my eye on the prize during all the stressful times. We have a busy couple days coming up so this is my last blog post for the week. Our anniversary is on Saturday and my mom offered to babysit Lila, so maybe we’ll be able to sneak out for dinner!On another note, how pretty is this dress?! I love the sheer fabric and snakeskin print is very on trend for spring and summer. I had every intention of wearing it to the Alan Jackson concert we went to Indianapolis but the weather ended up being cold and rainy that evening. I guess that means I’ll just have to find an excuse to wear it out for another date night here! The only downside to this dress is that it’s very low cut in the front and I don’t like my bra to show, so I used a small pin to close it.I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead and as always, thank you so much for reading!
