Happy Monday! We’re back from our weekend Indianapolis and now it’s back to the daily grind. It was a fun couple of days spent just the two of us: we had some great food and drinks, explored the NRA convention, and got to see Alan Jackson in concert. I grew up listening to his music so that brought back a lot of childhood memories. Both of us were so excited to get back to Lila, though. I think she’s still too young to really understand that we were gone, but she was definitely smiling a lot when we got home so I’ll just tell myself she missed us!
This white blazer and denim combo is what I wore one of the nights we went out for drinks and dinner. I’d been searching high and low for a new white blazer and am really happy with this one: for under $50, it has a great fit and looks more expensive than it is.
All of these photos were taken in the Memorial Circle in downtown Indy and this war memorial is located in the center at the top of a large staircase. While we were taking photos, so were a lot of high school prom-goers and I can see why because it has some great views of the city. Hope all of you have a wonderful start to the new week!
