How to Wear a Leather Jacket for Spring & New Styles I’m Loving Now

April 1, 2019

I hope all of you had a wonderful week and your Monday is off to a great start! We started moving into our new home last Tuesday so I’ve been consumed with that. Between cleaning, moving some stuff in, starting a few renovations and restocking our pantry, there’s always something to do—and it will be like that for the next few months until we have all of our things from Jordan. The house we moved into is an old farmhouse that was built in 1908, so storage is definitely the trickiest aspect for us. There are four bedrooms upstairs but only one room has a closet, so my husband has been hard at work turning one of the other rooms into a closet for me. I did a poll on Instagram asking if anyone would be interested in a blog series on our renovations/decorating and it was a pretty unanimous ‘yes’ so stay tuned for that. I’ll be sharing all the details on how we fixed up my closet room once it’s finished!

Choosing a Leather Jacket for Spring

I don’t know about where you live but it’s still leather jacket weather here in Virginia and it was in Amman when we shot this look. Leather jackets are often associated with fall but one in a light color like this gray moto looks so good for spring. Pair one with a sheer blouse or white tee and light blue or white denim and you have a look that speaks to warmer weather. I have my eye on this suede moto for the same reason—isn’t the sandy taupe to die for?! Here are some more options that I love in the prettiest soft hues (all images below are clickable and will take you directly to the product details).

One of the perks about moving is finding pieces you almost forgot you owned—these camo print pumps being one of them for me while packing up in Amman! I had to take them out for a spin as soon as they were rediscovered. Thanks so much for checking in with me today—here’s hoping I’ll be back on a regular blog schedule soon!
