No matter what season it is, I always love to wear denim on denim, AKA the ‘Canadian Tuxedo.’ Speaking of, I finally looked that phrase up and learned that it came from when Bing Crosby was almost turned away from an upscale hotel because he was wearing all denim. Levi’s actually sent him a custom-made denim tuxedo when they heard what had happened! If Bing had only known then what a trailblazer he would be for the fashion world, right?! 
The key for putting together any head-to-toe denim look is to select contrasting shades. I opted for a light blue jacket and dark gray jeans here, but you could also pair blue with a white denim jacket or jeans for an even ‘springier’ look (is that a word?!) This Levi’s jacket is my favorite because of its versatile color and slightly oversized fit.
Do any of you have fun weekend plans? My husband has to work most of the day tomorrow so I’ll be hanging with Lila. I’ve also started organizing for our move back to Virginia, which is less than three weeks away—eek!
