Although it’s already starting to warm up into the 50s and 60s, this winter in Amman has definitely been colder than last year (we even had a snow day last week!) I wore this layered look on one of the coldest, windy days and definitely feel like I still wasn’t warm enough—brrr! When I start to think about lightening up for spring, I’ve found that using a white turtleneck as a base layer gives my winter outfits more of a fresh look. It’s even better for a mostly black ensemble like this one since it breaks up the dark color a bit. It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of high-waisted jeans but I have to say that the new B(air) fit from 7 For All Mankind has now become the style I reach for more than any other jeans I own. This pair has a really high waist, a slimming dark wash, and just enough stretch to make them feel more like leggings than denim. I highly, highly recommend snagging a pair for yourself (just be sure to size down because of the stretch). They just came out with this light wash for spring and you can bet I’ll be grabbing that pair soon! When I wear them with a pair of over the knee boots like one of these, I swear I feel like I’m five inches taller than my actual 5′ 4″ height!I hope you’re all having a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by today!
