If only every blog shoot had a background this epic! But then again, it probably wouldn’t feel as special, right? One of the tourist spots we wanted to visit while we were in Budapest was the Vajdahunyad Castle. When we arrived, first we wandered through a Christmas market on the outskirts. As we walked through the market, we stumbled into this beautiful garden area behind the castle. True to blogger form, I asked my husband to snap some photos before we left!During the course of our trip, it was all about layering up every day with cold weather accessories like this. I picked up this little beret hat from Shopbop to take with me because the fur puff gives it a unique touch and it has the perfect amount of ‘flop’ (if that makes sense?!) I’ve had the coat I’m wearing for a few years now and it’s the one I reach for when I need serious warmth. Here are some other stylish but seriously cozy winter coat options if you’re in the market for one.I never thought I’d try the combat boot trend until I found this pair. I think I was drawn to them because they have a sleeker design than most combat boots on the market, plus the fur cuffs add a cute, cozy touch. I can happily report they’re also very comfortable since I walked in them for miles on several different days during the course of our trip. The Vajdahunyad Castle is surrounded by a huge ice skating rink, which definitely made the mood even more festive since it was Christmastime. It would have been fun to get out there but Lila’s not quite ready for the ice yet! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far and thanks so much for visiting! I’ll be back on Thursday with photos from our last stop in Europe, Bratislava!
