Ever since I started seeing a lot of prairie skirts with sweaters in fashion magazines and my Pinterest feed, I’ve been inspired to recreate a similar look for the blog. I love how the slouchy fit of this sweater and western boots give the skirt a casual feel. If you wanted to be a bit more dressy, you could also wear this type of outfit with sock boots or stiletto sandals.
This sweater is one of my favorite new purchases for the season. Despite being less than $30, it’s really high quality and also comes in four colors (sadly, this taupe shade has sold out). It does run a bit oversized though, so I didn’t size up like I normally do (this is an XS).
