One fall trend I am absolutely on board with is western style. From plaid print to statement buckle belts and cowboy boots like these, I love it all. I bought the majority of what I’m wearing today during Shopbop’s huge fall sale the other week. When I put this outfit together I thought, “Too cowgirl?” but I couldn’t help myself. I’m a Virginia native, so I suppose you can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl!I love the leather look of this coated denim skirt. It’s the perfect piece to wear with bare legs and boots in warm fall weather and just edgy enough to make this western-style outfit work for the city. And the flannel shirt? I’m pretty sure it’s the softest one I’ve ever worn. Rails is known for their great quality casual shirts, and although they cost a bit more than I’d normally spend on a top, are totally worth the splurge. As much as I love this shirt and skirt, my favorite part of the whole outfit may be these boots. I had my eye on them for weeks and grabbed them during the sale right before they sold out. But no worries I did find them in stock here if you’re interested!Who else is going west this fall? Let me know what you’re wearing!
