Happy Thursday! Who’s happy that we’re one day closer to the weekend? I’ll be happy when it actually starts to feel like fall around here—seeing everyone back home in their sweaters sipping on pumpkin spice lattes is making me just a tad jealous. But that’s the reality of living in Jordan: warm weather all year round, with a few cooler months between late November-February. That said, I do have to admit I can’t complain when spring rolls around and I can rock my new clothes without freezing to death!I’ve been waiting over a year to wear this skirt—yep, a year! I bought it last fall when I was pregnant because I’ve always wanted a leather skirt like this one, so I had to be patient until this year when I could finally wear it. Leather skirts are typically thought of as more edgy/street style, but a wrap style like this one is nothing but sophisticated. I paired it with my leather sock boots for a streamlined look and kept the rest pretty simple.I hope you all have a great weekend! We may take a day trip to see one of the castles outside Amman, so I’ll let you know how that goes. Don’t forget that the Shopbop sale runs through Saturday—check out this post to see what I bought. Thanks so much for reading!
