How are my friends on the East Coast? I’ve been following Hurricane Florence closely since my in-laws are in Florida and my parents and friends live in Virginia where the heavy rainfall/flooding could be really bad. It’s crazy because the weather hardly ever changes over here; it’s basically hot and sunny every day from spring through early fall. We’re looking forward to the weekend even though it was another short week due to the holiday we had in the middle. This week has been a bit of a whirlwind so I’m ready to (hopefully) relax a bit. I’ve actually started reading again and it’s been nice to put down my phone sometimes to enjoy a book.
Deep burgundy is one of my favorite fall colors. Sadly this blazer is nearly sold out online, but you may be able to find it in stores. I’ve been getting a lot of use from my lace camisoles lately—they’re so easy to throw on under a cardigan or jacket for a little polish and also warm-weather appropriate. As much as I wish fall were here in Amman, it’s only been cool in the mornings and evenings and looks to be that way for a long time.
