Even though it’s still summer and definitely still hot in Amman, my mind is already on fall fashion. Once August rolls around, it’s hard for me to stay in a summery state of mind when it comes to clothing, so I have to get creative. I like finding ways to incorporate fall trends in my outfits while still dressing appropriately for warm weather. This look is an example of that: can you spot the four fall trends I’m wearing?
Four Fall Trends You Can Wear Right Now
Ruffles
From frilly shoulders on leather jackets to traditional wrap skirts and dresses, ruffles are everywhere for fall. This sleeveless top is a great way to wear the trend now and you could take it right into cooler temps with a cardigan or jacket.
Denim Skirts
I haven’t been able to get enough of denim skirts like this since spring and they’re definitely sticking around for the fall season. Choose one in a darker wash for a more autumnal feel.
Mules
Mules are the perfect match for your straight leg jeans and skirts and pointed toe styles like these can really elongate your legs.
Western
Western style is back in a big way for fall and I love how these Frye mules add just a touch with the belt detail. To avoid looking like you’re at a rodeo, just don’t go overboard–choose one western piece (two maximum) to wear in an outfit. Check out this selection for some really chic western pieces (I have my eye on the belts!)
