We’re in the final week of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The last day to shop is August 5th before prices go up on the 6th. While some people can’t wait for it to end, others are still trying to hunt down the best finds before prices go up. I wanted to share ten of the best items that are great investment pieces and most importantly, still IN STOCK. There’s no better time to invest in a leather jacket for fall and this one is great since the hardware is black, making it work with both gold and silver accessories.
AG ‘Farrah’ Legging Jean $149.90 (after sale $225.00)
I know I’ve said it several times on the blog, but AG Jeans are the best. Their denim just has a way of magically making your legs and rear look amazing! I don’t even know how many total pairs I own, but I do have one in the Farrah fit and it’s so flattering—a high waist with an ankle length that looks good cuffed or down. This dark wash is a year-round classic you’ll have in your closet for years.
Leith plaid scarf $15.90 (after sale $24.00)
Who else loves a good plaid scarf? I like the colors in this one: pair it with a leather jacket like the one above for an edgier look.
Marc Fisher ‘Yentia’ Chelsea boot $129.90 (after sale $209.95)
This ankle boot is beyond comfy and looks great with everything. I bought last year’s version in two colors because I love them so much (shown below). The stud detail on this season’s pair is so chic and edgy. P.S. Oh my gosh, you guys, that belly of mine—I was about to pop!
Halogen cashmere blouson sleeve cardigan $199.90 (after sale $299.00)
This cardigan is one of my very favorite purchases from the Nordstrom Sale this year. The color is beautiful for fall and I love the blouson sleeves. It’s been too warm to actually wear it out yet, but these are a few ways I plan on styling it this fall.
Halogen cashmere scarf $98.90 (after sale $149.00)
I’ve said it so many times, but the Nordstrom Sale really is the best time to buy cashmere. First of all, it’s actually new and in stock, and second of all, it rarely gets marked down until the fall/winter season is over. This cozy scarf is a winner and I’ve purchased several colors over the last few years.
Brahmin ‘Nadia’ satchel $230.90 (after sale $345.00)
This satchel is perfect, from the just-right size to all of the organizational features inside. I own the ‘Morel’ color which is a fabulous neutral brown, but I’m also obsessed with this purply black shade. You’ve already seen me feature this beauty several times on the blog and you can expect to continue seeing it for a long time!
Levi’s crop straight jeans $64.90 (after sale $98.00)
I purchased these jeans myself and absolutely love them. They’re made from a stiffer cotton denim so they have more of an authentic vintage feel and the deep blue color is so sophisticated. They look great with both flats and heels, plus they have a flattering high waist. The price is amazing—can’t believe they’re still fully stocked in all sizes!
Charles David ‘Laurent’ sock boot $229.90 (after sale $348.95)
I purchased this exact sock boot last season and wear them all the time. They’re so sleek with skirts or denim.
Barefoot Dreams cardigan $88.90 (after sale $134.00)
I don’t own any Barefoot Dreams items for lounging at home, but I’ve been very tempted to purchase something while the brand is on sale. I bet this snuggly cardigan feels heavenly!
