My first round of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases just arrived and I’m so excited to try them on for you guys (with a little help from Lila!) Trouvé menswear blazer $99.90 (after sale $149.00) **FIT: Oversized; wearing an XS
I can never say no to a good plaid blazer and this was one of the first items that caught my eye in the Anniversary preview catalog. Reviews suggest sizing down but I bought my regular XS knowing this was an oversized silhouette and it fits perfectly. Roll the sleeves and pair it with a tee and denim for a casual yet polished outfit.

I always stock up on basic tees during the sale and this was the one I chose this year—you can never go wrong with stripes.

My jeans are not part of the Nordstrom Sale but they do happen to be on sale under $60! These are truly the most flattering pair of skinnies I’ve worn since having Lila: the waist is super high in the most flattering way and the cropped length is perfect without rolling up (I’m 5’4″).

I don’t think the photos online do this scarf justice at all—it is SO beautiful! I can’t believe it’s under $15. The size is very generous so you can wear it lots of different ways, plus the material is lightweight so you can use it year-round.

Vince ‘Alora’ mule $194.90 (after sale $295.00) **FIT: TTS; wearing my usual size 7
These gorgeous mules were my splurge item from the sale this year and I am so glad. The heel is high, yet comfy, and the way they’re cut low in the front makes your legs look super long—I highly, highly recommend them!
Halogen cashmere cardigan $199.90 (after sale $299.00) **FIT: TTS/perfectly slouchy; wearing an XS/S
I’ll apologize in advance for wearing this cardigan on repeat during fall/winter. Cashmere is pricey but the feel and quality can’t be beat, so now is the best time to buy it. This cardigan is SO cozy and the possibilities are endless for wearing it (you’ll see why as you keep scrolling through this post!)
B.P. lace camisole (SOLD OUT) ; near identical black option on sale under $30
Unfortunately this cami sold out before I received it in the mail, but there is a near-identical option also included in the sale (linked above). Wear a lace cami under any type of jacket or cardigan for a sexier alternative to a tee shirt.

This cropped tee is the ideal match for your high waist jeans and skirts. It’s almost too cropped, though, so I only suggest purchasing if you’re into wearing super high waist bottoms or okay with showing a little skin.
ASTR floral midi dress $52.90 (after sale $79.00) **FIT: snug in the ribcage area but otherwise TTS; wearing an XS
I love, love, LOVE this dress: the color scheme, the hemline, the button front detail. My only complaint is that it’s pretty low-cut in the front, but I plan on fixing that with a safety pin.
This dress is so pretty with an oversized cardigan and sock boots, too! I can definitely see myself repeating this outfit when fall rolls around.

B.P. ‘Tonya’ peep-toe mule $49.90 (after sale $79.95)
When I saw these mules for less than $50, I had to give them a try. Although not as well-made as the other mules I purchased, they’re a great budget-friendly option and the gray color will coordinate with many outfits.
Leith sweater dress $49.90 (after sale $75.00) **FIT: true to size for a bodycon dress; wearing an XS
I wouldn’t wear this body-hugging sweater dress alone but it’s the perfect base layer for long cardigans and jackets. I like how it has adjustable straps so I can bring them up for more coverage in the front. The material feels really nice, too.

This bodycon dress is cute but I wouldn’t spend more than the sale price on it. It runs small in the top but had extra room in the middle so I think the fit is a little strange. But like the dress above, I plan on wearing this as a base layer with sweaters and jackets.
