“Why are you taking photos here? It’s dirty!” That’s the type of comment we heard from several passersby while shooting this look in Amman. I just laughed and said, “It’s fashion, the dirt makes it edgy!” And personally, I love how these photos turned out!One item of clothing I can never seem to have enough of is a denim jacket—long, cropped, oversized or fitted, I love all kinds. This one is probably my most-worn because of its versatile dark wash and length that’s just right for wearing with anything. What I love most about a classic denim jacket like one of these is that they’re season-less, something you can wear right from summer into fall with a few simple changes. Keep on scrolling to see some how you can take this outfit and make it work for the fall season.
How to wear a denim jacket from summer to fall
- Wrap a pretty scarf over top
- Swap sandals for a pair of ankle boots–look at all these gorgeous new styles!
- Add a sweater underneath when the temperature dips
- Carry a leather handbag in a deep hue like burgundy or cognac
- Wear it with a skirt in an autumnal texture such as faux leather or suede
