Happy Wednesday, friends! Nothing too ground-breaking for today’s post, just some basic classic pieces I pulled together for a work-to-weekend outfit idea. These wide leg pants give my look a more polished feel but you could easily swap the chinos for denim if you want to go casual.
The Best Blouse Under $25
Button down shirts are one piece you should always have in your closet for several reasons: you can wear them with everything, whether dressy or casual, and you can be sure the silhouette will never go out of style. This blouse is the best I’ve ever found with a price tag of less than $25. The silky fabric looks and feels high quality, plus it doesn’t wrinkle easily—a major bonus in my book. In addition to this baby blue, I also own it in a floral print (seen on this post), and love it so much I’m now debating some more colors.
This Gucci bag was the souvenir I brought home with me from shopping in Dubai. I love the elegant gold accents but the monogram print is actually waterproof canvas, which also makes it practical.
I feel like an ad for Gucci today, but these white slides are another new purchase. I was on the wait list for several months until they became available and was so excited when they arrived a few weeks ago. Every season I buy one pair of high-quality shoes and since I wear the black Gucci slides I purchased last year all the time, I decided to get white. I’ve already been wearing these a ton so they were definitely worth the investment—highly recommend them. Hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far!
