A few weeks ago we had a short getaway at Ma’In Hot Springs in Jordan and I’m beyond excited to share photos from our travels! I started stalking this resort on Instagram before we even moved to Jordan and it’s just as magical in person as it is online. On the drive over, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere—which was basically true–until this gem suddenly appeared. The best part is that it’s a drive less than two hours from Amman, so we’ll definitely be returning soon. The waterfalls were front and center from our balcony—talk about a room with a view! My husband was the first to walk in our room and I heard him say, “Babe…I think you better come see this!” We had actually booked a different room but the staff was kind enough to upgrade us when we arrived, which made our stay even more amazing. In the view looking to the left side of our balcony you can see the Dead Sea off in the distance, which also looked breathtaking at sunset. The springs feed into a private pool for resort guests. We were up super early the next morning thanks to little Miss Lila, but it was actually nice because we had the entire place to ourselves. I couldn’t believe how warm the spring water is—literally almost too hot to completely immerse yourself until you’ve taken a few minutes to adjust to the temperature!
This bag was the perfect one to bring along on my trip. I never thought I’d love a backpack so much until I tried the Mini Dartmouth from Brahmin. As a longtime fan of their handbags, I should have known this style wouldn’t disappoint either (and now I understand why it’s one of their best-sellers).The Mini Dartmouth backpack is the ultimate travel companion thanks to the ease of being able to carry it hands-free, along with a surprisingly spacious interior. It’s really great for moms on-the-go, too. Like All Brahmin bags, the inside is thoughtfully designed to help keep you organized and contains multiple pockets, including my personal favorite feature you won’t find in most other bags: their signature key clip (no more wasted time fishing for car keys!)Besides the traditional way to wear a backpack on both shoulders, you can also carry this by the top handle or on one shoulder for a carefree look.
Besides how beautiful the waterfalls are to look at, I’m just amazed by how incredibly powerful nature can be. The falling water isn’t only hot, but strong—my husband stood underneath and said it was a struggle just to stand there because it pummeled him so hard!Is it too soon to say take me back?! Stay tuned this week for more photos from our travels and as always, thank you so much for reading!
