All-Season Layered Look with a Leather Jacket & Straight Leg Jeans

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! My husband has to work late this evening so we won’t celebrate today, but Lila Blake will be my sweetheart! Whenever I’m stumped on what to wear, I know I can always rely on my leather jackets. Whether it’s dressed down with a simple tee or thrown over a dress, it’s so easy to build an outfit around one—and they’re basically a year-round wardrobe staple. With signs of spring are already starting to arrive in Amman, I’m trying to make the most of my opportunities to wear layers while I still can. Black and gray is probably my favorite color combo and I did a little pattern mixing here with a striped tee and my favorite monogrammed scarf.My high waist denim obsession continues with this cropped straight leg pair. This is my first style from the NYC denim brand 3×1 and definitely won’t be my last: the length is just right for a pair of sock boots or strappy heels and I’m loving this light wash for spring.
