I don’t know about you all but personally, I don’t like spending much money on holiday-specific items since they never get as much wear as my wardrobe basics. Camel is a color I love wearing during fall/winter and can easily be used as a neutral base for creating festive looks. For today’s post, I’m showcasing two holiday looks using the same sweater and pants combo: one would be great for Thanksgiving and the other has details which speak to the Christmas season. The best part about these outfits is that both are simple to recreate with what you probably already have and neither scream ‘holiday’ if you choose to wear them any other time.
Two Ways to Wear Camel for the Holidays
Thanksgiving Casual
Thanksgiving always brings earth tones to mind and I decided to run with it by creating this monochromatic look with shades of brown.

- Sunglasses (Fendi)
- Pants (FRAME)

Christmas Classic
When it comes to holiday outfits, I love using rich textures like velvet to elevate basic outfits. These camel pants are velvet and I added some more with a pair of classic loafers. If you’re on the hunt for a pair of velvet pants, I highly recommend checking out the selection at Shopbop because there are so many options! A dash of red is another simple way to add a Christmasy vibe to any outfit and for that reason, I always have this bag on heavy rotation during the holiday season.
