Happy Wednesday, everyone! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m in full swing with transitioning my wardrobe from summer to fall. As much as I’ve been dying to wear my new sweaters, the Jordanian heat is getting in the way of my plans! That said, I found the perfect solution for warm weather layering: a lightweight sleeveless cashmere vest. It’s one of those pieces you’ll reach for again and again because of its versatility: I dressed it up a bit but you could easily layer this over a tee with distressed denim for a casual look. I picked mine up during the Nordstrom Sale—actually I should say I stalked it because the camel color was sold out for weeks! Luckily, it’s been restocked and although the price isn’t quite as low as it was during the sale, it’s still under $150, which is great when you’re talking 100% cashmere. It comes in an array of neutral colors, all of which would be great for fall/winter (I’ve got my eye on the light gray, too).
Another easy way to achieve a fall look while it’s still warm is to incorporate richer colors into your outfits. Camel and burgundy has always been one of my favorite color combos (see this outfit from last fall which I just may have to recreate!) Sleeveless jersey dresses from H&M have been my savior lately for maternity outfits and I also bought the one I’m wearing in black. Unfortunately, the plum color isn’t available anymore, but they just came out with a near identical version you can find here. It’s safe to say you’re going to see a lot more of this Brahmin satchel from now through fall—I can’t get enough of the cognac color and amazing texture!Hope you’re all having a great week and thanks so much for visiting today!
