It’s hard to believe but I’m officially 25 weeks pregnant this week, you guys! I’m starting to realize how quickly baby girl’s arrival is approaching, although my growing bump is a good reminder sometimes! Last week I took and passed my glucose test, which was such a huge relief. I thought for sure I was going to fail since I have such a sweet tooth (although I have no idea if that really has any impact on results or not—anyone know?). Since most of last weekend was spent doing baby-related things, we decided to venture out on Saturday to explore the old town of Salt, located a short drive outside Amman. It ended up being pretty crowded so we just grabbed lunch and took photos before heading back. We found a place with homemade falafel sandwich wraps, which are so good—my husband and I have both become addicted to them lately!Summer weather in Jordan is basically the same every day—hot, dry and sunny—so I made sure to dress as cool as possible for walking around. This striped shirt dress I recently found from Shein was a total win: it’s loose and comfortable, yet non-maternity, which works great for me. Although I could have worn it without the belt, I did decide to add one for a more flattering silhouette around my bump.
I hope your week is off to a great start! Thanks so much for visiting today!
