Little White Dress in Jerash

May 24, 2017

Thank you all so very much for the kind messages you left on Baby Brandon’s announcement. I read each and every one multiple times (and yes, I may have gotten a little teary-eyed—let’s just blame it on the pregnancy hormones!) Even though I’m thousands of miles away from most of you, it’s still nice to know there are other mommas out there I can seek advice from, which will no doubt be often since I have limited experience with babies. That said, my blog has always been about fashion and I don’t intend to change that. If you’re not a mom, I totally understand that endless posts about pregnancy can be a bit boring. I do plan on doing updates every so often, and of course I’ll be sharing how I dress my growing bump. Please let me know if there’s anything specific you all would like to know about my maternity journey or anything else for that matter. After all, your interest in what I post is what drives this blog! When we went to Jerash last weekend, we also snuck in another photo shoot in addition to the maternity one. Yep, I had to find a place to awkwardly change outfits while we were there… #bloglife. I was drawn to this cold shoulder dress for its generous fit through the body that will be perfect to wear all summer as my bump grows. I do recommend sizing up, though, because it runs pretty short (if you’re tall, I’d wear it as a tunic). The ancient city of Jerash is HUGE, which we were not expecting when we got there. It’s a mix of Roman, Greek and Byzantine ruins, some of which have been restructured for tourism. We’ll definitely be going back soon since we barely scratched the surface.I love embroidered detail on summer dresses and the colors really pop against this white dress. Another bonus: adjustable shoulder ties!I hope you’ve all been having a great week and thank you so much for visiting today!
