As much as I love trying out new trends, sometimes it’s always refreshing to get back to the basics. In this case, that would be a white button-down and boyfriend jeans with classic accessories.I am a firm believer you can never have too many white shirts, and this tunic style was at the top of my list when I shopped on the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The last time I checked today, white was still available in a few sizes, and the gray and olive colors were still fully in stock. I love this shirt so much, I’m thinking about purchasing the olive as well (you can’t beat the $31 price tag!)
My boyfriend jeans are also marked down to less than $60, and let me just say they are worth every penny: in fact, I would have easily paid full-price for them. I’ve searched high and low for the ultimate boyfriend jean—I’m pretty picky—but I have to say that this pair may just be the best I’ve ever owned (and this is coming from a designer denim junkie!) The light wash, distressing, ankle length, perfectly slouchy fit—everything about them is perfect. I promise you don’t want to miss this pair.
Retro-inspired saddle bags are most definitely the ‘it’ style for fall, and I love how this one from Brahmin incorporates multiple rich textures which add an autumnal feel to any outfit. If you’re still thinking about any items from the Nordstrom sale, be sure to grab them before prices go back up on Monday! I posted here this week with one of my other purchases and a roundup of items which are still in stock. Happy shopping and have a lovely weekend!
