Today’s look comes from the other weekend, which we spent in Naples. I remember the first time I went to Naples—and how much I hated it. In fact, as soon as we unpacked our suitcases, I was ready to get back on a train to Rome and never return. The city was loud and crazy at all hours, with dirty streets and terrible traffic. What’s changed my outlook? I’m not sure—Naples is still the same as it was then, yet I find myself falling for the city a little more each time we visit. We once heard a saying about Naples: “You cry when you get there and you cry when you leave.” Somehow, now I get it. People are quick to point out its faults, but I think I’ve just learned to look past them and appreciate all of the wonderful things the city has to offer: passionate people, beautiful seaside views—including the island of Capri—and some of the most incredible Italian food you’ll ever eat (definitely the best pizza in the world!) It may be obvious, but what initially captured my attention about this dress are the colorful embroidered sleeves. Add airy seersucker fabric and elastic sleeves which actually stay put to the mix, and it was definitely a winner for me (did I mention it’s only $20?!)These sandals were such a good investment this summer because they instantly dress up any outfit and are incredibly comfortable—exactly why Stuart Weitzman is my favorite brand for shoes.Since my dress is the main focus, I added neutral accessories and called it a day. I hope all of you are having a great start to the new week and thanks for reading!
